The Board of Fundación Educación had the great pleasure of receiving the visit of Pedro Crisóstomo last 27/28 September 2016. This visit took place as part of a private tour of Europe that also took him to Switzerland. Pedro studied computer engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), obtaining a scholarship by Fundación Educación. After a graduate program in the US sponsored by a Fulbright scholarship, Pedro returned to Peru and is now involved in several start-up projects.
Furthermore, Pedro is one of the leaders of the alumni association of Fundación Educación in Peru called "Compartiendo Caminos". We took his visit as the occasion to discuss with him future initiatives to further strengthen the cohesion and the impact of the foundation’s alumni networks in the countries the foundation is present and in Peru in particular.
During his visit Pedro also had the opportunity to visit the University of St. Gallen, the domicile of our foundation. There he met with Professor Yvette Sanchez, a member of our Foundation Board, and a number of students who are currently promoting the Circle of Friends of Fundación Educación.
It was very exciting to share with Pedro the interest in promoting Fundación Educación’s program in Peru, and to note the great effort he is dedicating to this mission.
